Hi there!, Tammy and Chris-
Like your blog and wanted to ask if you wouldn't mind helping spread the word about Farm Sanctuary's Walk for Farm Animals in Berkeley this year on Oct. 16th.

The Walk for Farm Animals is an annual event that helps spread the word about the treatment of animals on factory farms and raises vital funds for their rescue, education and advocacy work. If anyone is interested they can register at: http://www.firstgiving.com/farmsanctuary and select the Berkeley Walk.

Thanks so much!
For the animals,
Gina

Hey folks,
I'm headed out on the road to promote the new issue of my vegan magazine T.O.F.U. and I thought you might be interested in the whole thing.
I'd like to send along a download for the promo copy, but I can't find an email address. If you're interested in learning more about it, and reading the newest issue, please drop me a line.

hope all is well,
Ryan

Tammy and Chris, Great blog! For 20 years I've been the head chef for the Gourmet Vegetarian Dinners in Palo Alto (which are, in fact, vegan), every Monday at 6:30 p.m. Come and check us out. It's a great community group. (see website for details) Anyway, on Saturday March 7th I'm offering a vegan cooking class: Japanese Homestyle Vegetarian Cooking. This is based on my what I learned in my years of living in Japan and many years experience since. The class is at the same venue as the dinners, the First Baptist Church of Palo Alto, 305 North California St. at Bryant. 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and costs $45 or sliding scale, lunch included. Thought you'd like to know about us, and keep up the good work. Gary
